The S-Chair by Cappellini, designed by Tom Dixon, is an iconic piece of contemporary design that seamlessly blends artisanal craftsmanship with industrial mastery. With its distinctive sinuous form, the S-Chair is celebrated worldwide and can be found in the permanent collections of renowned institutions, including the Triennale in Milan and the MoMA in New York.
The chair's structure is made from dark varnished metal, and the original version is meticulously hand-woven with marsh straw, a process that takes over 6 hours to complete. Alternatively, the S-Chair is available in wicker or with a fixed cover, offered in a selection of premium leathers or fabrics from the Cappellini collection.
