An urban villa hidden amidst luxuriant tropical plants stands out for its unusual combinations of materials and colours. Interni’s Creative Team coordinated the interior design, working closely with the owners. It took care of everything from the furniture to the materials, from the choice of colours to that of accessories, with an eye to creating the owners’ vision of the ideal place to spend pleasant moments with family and friends, a light-hearted retreat from the stress of everyday life.
At the back of the house is the garden with an infinity pool and a raised whirlpool. Below the patio, two Gio tables by B&B Italia are placed side by side to create a longer table, paired with Kiti chairs by Paola Lenti. The brightly-coloured lounge area features a light blue Ray Outdoor sofa by B&B Italia. The Prato Fiorito lamps by Exteta add a touch of magic to the atmosphere after dark. At the poolside are sun loungers and Gio tables by B&B Italia. A round Tango table by Dedon completes the outdoor area.
The heart of the house is a large open space, interrupted by the spectacular winter garden that runs through the room. In the dining area, the Plinto table by Meridiani, more than 3 m long and with a petrol lacquered top, is combined with Mini Papilio chairs in Malva fabric. The spectacular Ceramic Falls chandelier by FG Art and Design stands out in the double-height space, with a cascade of raku ceramic elements. Behind the dining area is the living room, where Minotti furniture takes centre stage. The Freeman sofa by Rodolfo Dordoni in leather and a pair of Leslie armchairs in velvet surround the round Calder Bronze coffee table and square Ritter table in the centre of the room. The carpet is a made-to-measure Dibbets Diagonal model by Minotti. The seating arrangement is completed by the Scarlett sofa by Poltrona Frau.
A Decor Boiserie wall in rosewood by Laura Meroni with six Light Walls in burnished brass divides the living room from the office area. The presidential study features the C.E.O. Cube desk by Poltrona Frau, the Brief President armchair and the Eracle bookcase by Maxalto. The lounge area comprises two Brooklyn armchairs in mandarin leather, also by Poltrona Frau. Lighting is provided by Henge's Light Ring Horizontal.
Leaving the office you enter the Family Room, containing a sofa and armchairs from B&B Italia’s Édouard series where you can relax and be entertained by the freestanding TV station, with lighting provided by two Cadmo LED lamps by Artemide.
To access the bedrooms on the first floor, you can take the lift or the metal spiral staircase with see-through glass parapets. You’ll be welcomed by a hallway with a Husk sofa by B&B Italia upholstered in lobster velvet and a Play TV stand by Cattelan Italia. Next you’ll find the bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms by Antonio Lupi, a walk-in closet by Misuraemme, a Randomito bookcase by MDF Italia and a spectacular Lullaby Due round bed by Poltrona Frau.
