The Cassina Committee Chair, part of the Hommage à Pierre Jeanneret collection, is a sophisticated blend of elegance and functionality. Originally designed by Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret to furnish the grand political buildings of Chandigarh, this chair has been faithfully reinterpreted while maintaining its distinctive, modernist spirit. The chair’s restrained, clean lines are complemented by the signature inverted "V" lateral supports, a hallmark of Jeanneret’s iconic designs. Available in its original version with armrests or in a versatile armless version, the Committee Chair fits seamlessly into both living and dining rooms. Its structure, crafted in historic teak, natural oak, or oak stained black, offers a harmonious contrast with the soft, upholstered seat and backrest. The removable upholstery, available in either leather or fabric, ensures both comfort and ease of maintenance, making it practical as well as stylish. Distinguished by the Hommage à Pierre Jeanneret logo on the wooden frame and the Cassina label sewn onto the backrest, each piece in this collection reflects the high quality and artisanal craftsmanship for which Cassina is renowned.
