The Cassina Cross vase, designed by Bodil Kjær in the early 1960s, features a distinctive cross shape, allowing it to hold a flower in each of its four inner spaces. Kjær’s design focuses on supporting and showcasing individual flowers, highlighting their natural beauty with simplicity and grace. The unique form of the Cross vase also offers the possibility of creating dramatic interlocking compositions by arranging multiple vases together. Each vase is hand-blown inside a cast-iron mold, and its surface is delicately hammered, with each tap varying in force to create a one-of-a-kind finish. Available in three sizes, two of which maintain their original dimensions, the Cross vase is a refined and timeless addition to any space, blending functionality with exquisite design.
