The CH327 Table, designed by Hans J. Wegner in 1962, exemplifies how creativity and master craftsmanship can result in a timeless design. This solid wood dining table features softened edges and rounded legs that taper elegantly towards the floor, giving it a light and refined appearance. The natural wood grain runs along the length of the tabletop, further enhancing its sophisticated design.
A unique feature of this table is its floating tabletop effect, achieved by the separation between the tabletop and the supporting side rails, which run along the table’s length. The table is stabilized by detachable legs at each end, connected by a sturdy cross-stretcher for additional support. This combination of rails and stretchers ensures both transverse and longitudinal stability, while the elevated side rails near the legs allow for greater legroom, making it a comfortable option for dining or meetings.
The CH327 is available in two lengths: 190 cm, accommodating six people, and 248 cm, seating eight. Both sizes can be extended with optional 40 cm extension plates at each end, increasing seating capacity to 10 or 12 people. Its elegant design makes the CH327 suitable for various uses, including as a dining table, meeting table, or even a stylish desk in a home or office setting.

Details & finishing
The wood’s grains follow the tabletop's length, which is supported by 3 distinct rails.
Underneath each of these, on each side, is a side rail that continues along the length of the table.
Between the side rail and the tabletop, there is a space, thus giving the impression that the tabletop is floating.
CH327 is available today in two lengths: 190 cm for six people and 248 cm for eight people.
The elegant CH327 Wegner table is suitable to be used as both a dining table and a meeting table. It can also easily be used as a desk.
The CH327T insert leaf is sold separately.
