The CH338 Table, designed by Hans J. Wegner, is an extended version of the iconic CH337 dining table from 1962. Crafted from solid wood, the CH338 features a softly curved elliptical tabletop that creates a sense of unity and elegance, making it suitable for both intimate dinners and larger gatherings. This middle-sized table in the series comfortably seats six people, but can be expanded with additional extension leaves to accommodate up to 14, making it ideal for meetings and family events.
The CH338 is part of a series that includes the smaller CH337 and the larger CH339 tables. All three tables feature elliptical tops with transverse wood grains, enhancing the natural beauty of the wood while minimizing visible joints. The extension mechanism allows the table to be pulled apart effortlessly and fitted with up to four extension leaves, providing flexibility for various occasions.
