The Flou Saturno Mirror, designed by Matteo Nunziati, is an impressive and sophisticated piece that adds an air of grandeur to any space. This majestic, oval-shaped mirror can be positioned either vertically or horizontally, making it a versatile choice for enhancing the elegance of large rooms, hotel lobbies, or luxurious residences. The mirror’s molded Baydur® structure is available in two refined finishes: graphite and bronze, allowing for seamless integration into various interior designs. Saturno offers three types of glass—natural, smoked, and bronzed—each providing a unique character and depth. The mirror is enhanced with integrated LED backlighting, positioned between the frame and the mirror pane, creating stunning visual effects and a warm, ambient glow (38W, 2700K, 3400 LM). This lighting feature not only adds to the aesthetics but also provides practical illumination. The light can be controlled via an on/off switch, remote control, or the Casambi smart-lighting system, which allows convenient adjustment from a smartphone or tablet. The foundation of Flou - which took place in 1978 - was based on the objective of producing beds of high intrinsic and formal quality, combined with the desire to introduce a new 'sleep culture'. It was a period of great social change: more women were going out to work, the homes required multi-functional spaces, there was the growing desire to live life with greater freedom and higher quality. The bedroom became somewhere more dynamic and the bed abandoned the traditional static all-white appearance and delighted dressing in colours.
