The Diavoletti Family by Cappellini, designed by Alessandro Mendini and Daniel Eltner, is a whimsical collection of three vases, each evoking the playful and enigmatic spirit of a little devil. This contemporary trio consists of the red Diavoletto, the pink Diavoletta, and the yellow Diavoletto, offering an ironic reinterpretation of talismanic symbols meant to exorcise the challenges of daily life.
Crafted from ceramic, the vases boast a matte exterior that contrasts with their glossy interior, a design choice that highlights their distinctive form. Inspired by the idols of the Cycladic civilization on the island of Mykonos, the Diavoletti Family embraces a surreal and almost mystical aesthetic. Made using ancient techniques from the 1700s, these vases are not only conversation pieces but also functional works of art that add an eccentric touch to any space.
