The 7, Siège tournant, fauteuil – Outdoor by Cassina is an enduring icon of modern design, originally created by Charlotte Perriand in 1927 for her apartment in Paris. First displayed at the 1928 Salon des Artistes Décorateurs and later at the Salon d'Automne, this swivel chair is part of the legendary collection that Perriand developed alongside Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret. Reimagined for outdoor settings, the Siège tournant features a robust stainless steel frame finished with outdoor-grade powder paint, available in five textured colors. The seat and back cushions, filled with expanded polyurethane and padded polyester, are wrapped in a special polyester yarn fabric that emulates the look and feel of the indoor version while withstanding outdoor conditions. With its Italian Catas certification awarded in 2016, this outdoor model offers both durability and the refined aesthetics of the original, making it a perfect choice for those seeking functional elegance in open-air spaces.
