Arclinea celebrates Convivium and opens a new exhibition space
Arclinea is known for being one of the most prestigious Made in Italy brands of high-end kitchens. This year at MDW the company celebrated the 20th anniversary of the revolutionary Convivium concept and inaugurated a new exhibition space at Via Durini 7, in the very heart of Milan's design district.
The beautiful renovation shows off the historic architecture of this space, which is the home of the new pieces of the Collection, designed by Antonio Citterio.
The two spaces were designed with a cohesive and elegant identity that acknowledges the kitchen as the true heart of the home, where we spend time together, connect and enjoy. The space is the natural evolution of a cohesive journey. It is a journey that confirms the brand's founding values, in which design and technology lie at the foundation of innovative concepts, and in which functions and tools connect with the extraordinary nature of our everyday lives.
Thea, the kitchen with the characteristic sloping edge, is a main player in the new showroom in a double island version, in the new Lignum stave version in NTF fumé oak.
In the centre, an elegant version of the Thea island: a single-material monolith in gres porcelain Calacatta Extra with through-body vein. The brand new entry is a door with ceramic frame and molding in aluminium. To the sides, walls of tall units with doors in the new NTF grey oak finish integrate Pocket elements.
In the window, a new image for Convivium with new refined materials and combinations: black PVD steel for the work island with worktop in polished Noir Saint Laurent marble and NTF black ash for the Era built-in table.
A new look also for the Italia kitchen: a welcoming layout teams Vintage stainless steel, for the socialising island and work area, polished Collemandina marble, the NFT grey oak slats of the wood panelling, Modus System doors, Era Snack Bar and internal ceiling.
The wall of tall units featuring Principia door in NTF fossil oak together with the island and work area with Convivium Elegant door in bronze PVD, worktop in Forest Sughero Quarzo Tech, and Era Snack Bar in NTF fossil oak. The glass wall units are new and have an aluminium frame and minimal profile with built-in handle.
Interesting colour and material combinations for Thea with central work peninsula and Waterfall worktop in satin-finish Gravel Quarzo Tech. Stromboli grey Fenix NTM® laminate is the main player on the doors of the base and tall units and the same colour, lacquered matt Stromboli grey Fenix, is used for the Gola Profile and the Canto snack bar. NTF fossil oak for the Frame System door, the wall units and the new open wall units with their eye-catching rounded corners and slim internal dividers.
