The Réaction Poétique wood centrepiece, designed by Jamie Hayon, is a testament to the beauty and versatility of wood, crafted with precision and artistry. Each piece in this collection reflects Hayon’s devotion to a single material, wood, expressed through sculptural forms that play with light and shadow to highlight the natural elegance of the material. Inspired by organic shapes reminiscent of Le Corbusier’s designs and the paintings in L’Esprit Nouveau, these centrepieces reflect Cassina’s long-standing tradition of woodworking mastery, blending craftsmanship with modern innovation. Originally available in solid ashwood stained black, the collection now includes five additional finishes: open-pore ashwood in petrol green, amaranth red, mud, pearl grey, and American walnut.
