The Glass Newson Vase by Cappellini, designed by Marc Newson, is a stunning sculptural piece that echoes the sinuous lines of Newson’s famous Orgone chaise longue. Originally designed in the 1990s with ceramic, this new edition uses hand-blown, colored paste Murano glass, bringing a fresh, contemporary take to the timeless design.
Available in amethyst, emerald green, and air force blue, the Glass Newson Vase features a curvilinear shape that is accentuated by the vibrant color palette. The 2021 edition also includes a lid with three holes, crafted from the same material and colors as the vase itself, allowing it to function both as an open vase or with a decorative cover.
Each vase is crafted by expert glassmakers, with slight variations in color and tiny air bubbles that highlight the artisanal process. These unique features add character and authenticity to each piece, making the Glass Newson Vase a refined addition to any interior.
