The Cassina Table en Forme Libre, designed by Charlotte Perriand, is a stunning example of modernist furniture with an organic, asymmetrical form. Originally created in 1938 for her own atelier in Montparnasse, this table’s rounded edges and fluid lines were later put into production by Galerie Steph Simon in the 1950s. Perfectly suited for small spaces, the table can comfortably seat up to eight guests, offering both style and functionality.
Supported by three legs—one oval and two smaller cylinder-shaped—this piece exudes a sense of balance and movement. Reissued by Cassina in 2011, the table now features slimmer legs to provide more seating space for convivial occasions. Crafted from solid mahogany, the table is available in both gloss and matte finishes, with wooden staves on the tabletop that interlock seamlessly, showcasing Cassina’s exceptional woodworking skills.
