The Guscioalto Armchair by Flexform, designed by Antonio Citterio, is a high-backed wing chair (bergère) renowned for its exceptional comfort and couture-level tailoring. The enveloping shell of the armchair is crafted from structural polyurethane foam, while the seat cushion is filled with luxurious goose down and features a crushproof core for lasting support. For added comfort, the Guscioalto Soft version includes extra padding in the seat back, enhanced with Dacron and memory foam.
A unique feature of the Guscioalto Light version is the contoured upholstered element, designed for easy removal and cleaning, which attaches to the seatback with Velcro for a customizable seating experience. The armchair is available with a sleek and lightweight base, which can be ordered in either a swivel or non-swivel version with metal legs. Alternatively, it comes with a wood base and legs in solid wood, available in various finishes.
