A reinterpretation of classic domestic environments through a dynamic experience. This concept inspired Studio Alchemy’s design of this villa in Lebanon.
Deconstruction meant using wooden slats and textiles on the walls instead of on the floor, creating modern patterns with the classic parquet, leaning paintings against the walls instead of hanging them. From an architectural point of view, it meant creating visual boundaries within the spaces using partitions and openings, creating volumes that are both separate and interconnected. At the same time, vertical and horizontal elements extend from inside to outside, questioning the traditional separation of indoor and outdoor.
Together with Interni’s Creative Team, furniture from the best Italian design brands was selected: Minotti, Flexform, B&B Italia, Poltrona Frau and Fiam Italia.
