Living and working in the province of Pistoia, she has become a significant figure in contemporary art. A native of Prato, she developed a passion for art as a teenager at the Scuola d'Arte Leonardo di Prato around 1978. Specializing in painting and graphic techniques, she combines poetry and painting through mixed media and diverse materials. Morganti, who has honed her skills in mixed media over the years, now creates artworks that undergo various stages, from abstract phases using collage and acrylic to final layers with glue, resins, and other materials, resulting in what she describes as an "acrylic skin"—a uniform, tactile surface. Her work has been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions across Tuscany, Rome, Bari, Novara, and La Spezia. She has won several awards, including at the Premio Nazionale di Pittura di Fighille. Her pieces are held in public and private collections in Italy and abroad, including the Museo d'Arte Moderna in San José, Costa Rica, and the Piccolo Museo di Fighille since 2012.
