This padded chair, upholstered in the luxurious Bruno 858 fabric, is supported by a frame in coffee-brown stained ash that adds warmth and sophistication to its design. Inspired by fluid and organic shapes, the Tekton series offers pieces that fit seamlessly into any environment, enhancing the space with subtle elegance. The chair's backrest and armrests are crafted from a single piece of heartwood, demonstrating expert woodworking and creating a cohesive, flowing silhouette. The unique spiral component joins the vertical and horizontal axes, providing an eye-catching design detail that also ensures structural strength. The foundation of Flou - which took place in 1978 - was based on the objective of producing beds of high intrinsic and formal quality, combined with the desire to introduce a new 'sleep culture'. It was a period of great social change: more women were going out to work, the homes required multi-functional spaces, there was the growing desire to live life with greater freedom and higher quality. The bedroom became somewhere more dynamic and the bed abandoned the traditional static all-white appearance and delighted dressing in colours.
