The Italia model, presented for the first time in 1988, marked the beginning of the partnership with Antonio Citterio. Anticipating by several years the trend of adopting the functions and styles of the professional kitchen for the home, Italia replicated its aesthetics and technical features right from the start: from the typical handle to the use of steel, from the deeper tops, equipped with large cast-iron hobs and double sinks, to the suspended hoods and the iconic double-island layout.

It offers the sturdy lightness of the aluminium-framed doors, the practicality of built-in door handles, the choice between six cutting-edge materials and a range of finishes to customise the front panels.
An innovative project capable of combining advanced technical features and premium materials to create spaces that stand the test of time. The door of the Kronos collection features a titanium-painted aluminium frame with a laminate, HPL, Fenix-NTM®, wood, glass or Laminam panel. Lightweight and practical, the door opens easily thanks to built-in side handles on the top or bottom.
A restyling of the iconic and consolidated model Alea, Alea Pro is characterised by a bolder expressiveness. The essential design of the original system is reinterpreted through a redefinition of the details. The recesses on the handleless doors are highlighted by a silhouette that brings out the system’s vertical and horizontal lines. The door design with a tapered upper edge and handle profile matching the silhouette is new, as is the detail of the distanced side panels, which gives a lighter appearance to the base units.
The glass doors on the base, wall and standing units create transparency effects that lend rhythm to the composition. The result is a kitchen system that combines an extremely high operational capacity with a contemporary look that can be customised with a wide range of materials and finishes.
