The CH337 Table, designed by Hans J. Wegner in 1962, is a stunning example of Danish craftsmanship and timeless design. Made entirely from solid wood, the CH337 features an inviting form that is both functional and elegant. The finely processed elliptical tabletop is one of its most striking elements, offering a harmonious shape that showcases the beauty of the wood’s grain, with seamless joints that are nearly invisible to the eye.
This extendable dining table is not only suitable for everyday use but is also perfect for larger gatherings, as it can be expanded to seat up to eight people. The table’s graceful tapered legs and angled horizontal rails provide optimal support while maintaining a sleek, minimalist aesthetic. The rails are designed to be tallest at their connection with the legs for added stability, while lowering in between to maximize legroom for those seated around the table.
Part of a series of three tables, the CH337 is available in various lengths and can be customized with up to four extension leaves, making it versatile enough to accommodate different occasions and uses.
