The Zeppelin 1 by Flos, designed by the visionary Marcel Wanders, is a suspension lamp that delivers diffused lighting with an ethereal, almost sculptural presence. The internal steel structure of the Zeppelin 1 is powder-coated in white and sprayed with a unique cocoon resin, which forms the diffuser. This process creates a soft, organic texture that elegantly diffuses the light, filling the space with a warm glow. To ensure durability and a flawless finish, the diffuser is protected by a transparent sprayed-on coating.
Enhancing the lamp’s distinctive design, transparent polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) "candles" add a refined, chandelier-like effect, while a faceted crystal globe at the lamp’s lower center creates a sparkling focal point, adding an element of luxury to the overall aesthetic.
