A sumptuous villa looking like a mirage in the desert. The combination of fine materials, Italian furnishings and accessories, and careful architectural solutions make this home a perfect example of how architecture and design can work together to create unique, personalised spaces. In this prestigious collaboration with CANTIERI Project (Doha), Interni was in charge of the interior design.
Coming in through the front door, you find the Plissé sideboard covered in leather and the Marlene mirror, both by Baxter, matching the colours of the marble floor. Beyond the entrance, the imposing concrete, glass and steel open staircase leads to the sleeping area and a small gym. A composition of Glo suspension lamps designed by Carlo Colombo for Penta illuminates the space.
The living area on the ground floor stands out for the variety of seating arrangements: the Alfred sofas paired with the Feel Good armchairs and the Plain ottoman, all by Flexform; the Martini sofas by Giorgetti are paired with the Leslie armchairs by Minotti; the Otium corner sofa by Maxalto and the elegant multimedia wall. The carpet is the Cratis by B&B Italia. Two majestic Flying Circles bookcases by Ceccotti break up the rhythm between the sofas.
Henge products furnish the dining area: the Stealth Table with marble top and brass base with honeycomb texture is paired with Is-A Chair chairs covered in ivory velvet. The table is illuminated by two sculptural Tape Light lamps. On the adjacent wall, a B-Side sideboard serves the dining area.
An entire wall of the living area is made up of large full-height windows that lead directly to the garden, with a large swimming pool and an outdoor living area with sofas, armchairs and tables from the Fat Sofa Outdoor collection, designed by Patricia Urquiola for B&B Italia.
