A private residence by the sea in the resort of Kaplankaya, Turkey. It’s defined by essential lines and warm colours that perfectly blend in with the surrounding nature, transforming the villa into an island of relaxation where you can recharge, cocooned by the peace and calm of an exotic and evocative landscape.
The organisation of the spaces creates complete permeability between exterior – which develops on different levels designed to be flexible and dynamic – and interior: the division of the building, the large windows, the coverings create an exclusive environment to be experienced in total freedom.
The living area is one of the villa’s most impressive spaces. Interni’s Creative Team furnished the bright room, with large windows, with designer pieces, artworks, sculptural furniture and dramatic elements such as the fireplace by Focus. Next to the reception area, a more intimate and family-friendly convivial space opens out, featuring a composition of carpets and ottomans designed by Patricia Urquiola for Gan Rugs.
The bedroom contains soft and comfortable forms, with the Desdemone bed with rounded headrest by Ligne Roset and the Freeform sofa by Vitra. It is completed by a reading corner with a Tolomeo bookshelf by Opinion Ciatti and a made-to-measure walk-in closet.
The children’s rooms feature designer furniture including the Joe armchair designed by De Pas, D’Urbino and Lomazzi for Poltronova, pieces by Oliver Furniture, the Flutterby lamp by Ingo Maurer and the Dadone ottoman by Riva 1920.
The outdoor area has a sophisticated and modern design: shades of gray bring out the natural elements and the soft and clean lines of the furniture by brands including Paola Lenti and Kettal.
