Villa in Lombardy
A private villa in the heart of Lombardy shows how the combination of design and function can create unique interiors. In this project, where the light colours of the floors and walls contrast with the black furniture, light is the absolute protagonist, thanks to the large full-height windows in the living area and kitchen. The house is in perfect harmony with its surroundings, so that the client can feel relaxed and enjoy their free time in complete tranquillity.
The living room comprises the Grid TV composition by Molteni and the Alfa sofa by Zanotta. The Wind double-sided bookcase by Rimadesio, in the total black version, separates the living room from the dining area. Aesthetic lightness and technological innovation, the strong points of the company and of the work of designer Giuseppe Bavuso, help separate the two areas without compromising brightness.
The dining room features a generously-sized Long Island Table by Rimadesio, which can host several guests during dinner parties, and Flow Chair chairs by MDF Italia in two different variants. In the background of the dining area is the Italia kitchen by Arclinea designed by Antonio Citterio. Above the central island, made entirely of steel, hangs the spectacular double-shelf hood. To frame the island, Interni’s Creative Team designed an L-shaped composition in matt black Phoenix that stands out against the warm-coloured parquet floor, creating an interesting game of contrasts.
The dining area, framed by a large window with three sliding doors, looks out onto the garden. Roda products were chosen for the outdoor furniture: the sofa and armchairs from the Piper collection, the ottoman from the Double collection and the Sunglass coffee table.
