A relaxing oasis. Situated in a prime location with spectacular views on the Lake Garda coastline, this stunning villa is a creation of unquestionable beauty. Conceived and built at the behest of the owners as an oasis of relaxation for the weekends and long summer days, this home astounds in its every corner and detail. Nothing was left to chance and an eye for beauty emerges wherever you look. The Interior Design project was developed by the Mingotti and Giordano Architetti studio, which, relying on the Interni Design Experience group’s many years of experience, created something unique and tailor-made for the customer.Elegance, refinement and sophistication are tangible in every furnishing element, each perfectly arranged in the very large spaces inside and out. A great feeling of airiness and an extreme sense of balance emerges everywhere, ensuring maximum relaxation and tranquillity. This house is the perfect place for the owners to escape the frenzy of everyday life and spend pleasant moments of solitude or in the company of friends.

The garden of dreams. You cannot help but be impressed by the marvellous and stunning garden that materialises when you enter the property. Past the entrance gate, you are greeted by a gentle slope that leads to a spectacular swimming pool which, owing to its soft and sinuous lines, gives great harmony to the entire outdoor context. All around there are countless areas where you may relax and sunbathe. Almost all of the furnishings chosen bear the Roda signature: the fantastic Dandy sofas, the versatile Double ottomans and the Network coffee tables placed here and there to create convenient surfaces to rest things on if needed. Surrounding the pool are also vases from Dedon’s Dala Collection which embellish the setting with their strong decorative character.

The remarkable size of the garden allowed for a comfortable and functional customised kitchen to be inserted. Entirely waterproof and covered with Kerlite, it features a large sink, a refrigerator and a small wine-cellar for hot summer days or quick poolside aperitifs. It is completed by Harp bar-stools by Roda and, to ensure shade, two Bay Master umbrellas by Tuuci that lend a technical touch to a very refined setting. The entire perimeter of the garden is framed by delightful plants that partly conceal the beauty of this villa from the coastal areas lying in front of it.

The relaxation area in the enormous veranda in front of the pool further embellishes the outdoors. Here, two linear sofas and two armchairs from the Network Collection by Roda create an attractive area for relaxing in the shade or for spending delightful accompanies by a pleasant breeze from the lake. Crowning the airy veranda are the enormous Knot rug by Roda and a clever oversized lamp by Flos: the iconic outdoor Superarchimoon designed by Philippe Starck.

An eye for beauty. To understand the true essence of this project and the client’s tastes you need only walk through the front door. It is inside that the unique elegance and sophistication that make this unique villa come to life. The areas that best interpret these characteristics are the dining room and the living area. Both are very large and the atmosphere you breathe is second to none. Gold details and black wood panelling set the style while a hardwood floor helps warm up the rest of the room. Once you go down the steps you cannot help but notice the element that separates the dining table from the rest of the space, a Celato low cabinet by De Castelli, completely covered in precious striated DeLabré Brass, skilfully placed to serve the table, given its remarkable storage capacity. Continuing on to the left, a hallway allows us a glimpse of a timeless classic: the 1919 armchair by Poltrona Frau which, with its leather upholstery, echoes the atmosphere of past eras.Leaving the dining room behind and going down a step, you lose yourself in the living area. The centre of attention here is the enormous and timeless Chester Moon sofa by Baxter, whose light-coloured leather enhances the fabulous stitching, making it the centre of attention. On the other side, three ottomans, also from the Chestermoon collection, echo the sofa, while the space is completed by four Archibald armchairs from Poltrona Frau in black leather, two on either side, which lend character and personality to the setting. In the centre is an exquisite and stunning Elliot coffee table by Minotti, which, with its Sahara Noir marble top and polished gold frame, sets off all the elements of the living room. The finishes and decorative elements around speak the same language as the furnishings, achieving a consistent and uniform style throughout. What emerges, in addition to elegance and sophistication, is an eclectic style with bold and original combinations that leave anyone who sets foot in this room speechless. The living area clearly does not end here. Next to the living room is another space designed specifically for relaxing. What stands out here is a long custom-made blue velvet sofa in front of a beautiful wall unit complete with a TV, perfect for delightful moments of leisure. Between the sofa and the TV wall is a triptych of Syro coffee tables by De Castelli made of iron, brass and copper, whose unusual organic forms seem to have been sculpted by nature.

Another key area of the house is the spectacular conservatory. With its roof and walls made entirely of glass, light reigns supreme, conveying a great sense of peace and serenity to anyone spending time there. Guests are invited to relax by two extremely comfortable Willy armchairs by Poltrona Frau in olive green leather. On the opposite side, a sofa covered in light-green velvet provides additional, quintessentially elegant seating. On either side, two Stelo Box glossy gold floor lamps instil a soft atmosphere during long summer evenings. Also by Laudarte, and again designed by studio Mingotti Giordano Architetti, we find the Stelo Campanula lamp serving one of the two Poltrona Frau armchairs. This marvellous area of the house is further embellished with the curtains, which dress the windows bringing warmth to the setting and ensuring discreet privacy.

The ambience of days gone by. Another “gem” in this beautiful villa on Lake Garda can be found in the basement. When you go downstairs you feel as if you have been catapulted into another era, that of the fumoirs and clubs of the 1920s and 30s. There is a billiard room where the undisputed protagonist, of course, is the playing table. Above it, a lavish Matheny chandelier by Boca Do Lobo in gold-plated brass contrasts perfectly with the warm wood of the billiard table. A beautiful custom-made bar with counter is placed in front of it, where you can spend pleasant evenings in the company of friends, accompanied by a good glass of liqueur. The stools at the bar are from the Mansfield collection, also by Boca do Lobo, but covered in refined powder blue velvet by Dedar. Right next to the bar, a leather Amburgo armchair by Baxter is just what you need to indulge in moments of reflection and relaxation, pampered by the soft atmosphere that the dark wall coverings and the right lighting convey. A home whose every aspect will leave you breathless, where sensitivity and extreme attention to detail are clear indicators of how the great professionalism of Mingotti and Giordano Architetti together with Interni Design Experience’s many years of experience of interior design have contributed, together with the taste and desires of their customers, to creating a true pearl located on Lake Garda.
