B&B Italia revisits the past with the new Softcage outdoor collection, which is inspired by a 1975 project by Mario Bellini. Bellini's pioneering vision revolutionized the use of rattan as a premium material for furniture, melding daring contours with timeless grace. Today, this iconic concept undergoes a contemporary reinterpretation through B&B Italia's innovative lens, breathing new life into a collection that preserves the allure of handcrafted rattan while seamlessly blending it with modern aesthetics. This fresh iteration delivers an unparalleled blend of comfort and style for outdoor environments, featuring a meticulously crafted cage structure comprising 45 mm sections and 18 mm rods. The load-bearing framework boasts softer, more ergonomic contours, facilitated by the inclined and suspended base under the seat and backrest. The collection comprises sofas in two sizes and an armchair, all showcasing a rattan structure available in various hues. With a diverse range of colors and fabrics, individuals can personalize their outdoor spaces with a touch of sophistication and practicality.
