Tokujin Yoshioka
Born in 1967, he worked with renowned designer Shiro Kuramata and fashion icon Issey Miyake before founding his own studio in 2000. Active in the fields of design, architecture, and contemporary art, he is globally acclaimed for his works that explore the interplay of light and nature. Among his most famous pieces are the "Water Block," a glass bench displayed at the Musée d'Orsay, and the Olympic Torch for the 2020 Tokyo Games. Many of his works are included in the permanent collections of prestigious museums, such as MoMA, Musée National d'Art Moderne, and the Victoria and Albert Museum.
