Renzo e Matteo Piano

Two generations come together, exchanging ideas and tackling the complexities of research and project development timelines. With a curious mindset, both generations draw inspiration from various disciplines, transforming these challenges into creative and innovative solutions.

On one side is Renzo Piano, the founder of the renowned Renzo Piano Building Workshop, and on the other is Matteo Piano, who started his design career by opening Piano Design Studio in the mid-1990s. Matteo brought with him the design approach cultivated in his father’s studio, collaborating on numerous projects, including the redevelopment of the historic Lingotto factory in Turin.
