Massimo Castagna
Born in 1957, he earned a degree in architecture at the Milan Polytechnics in 1984, opening what is now his current AD Architettura firm in 1986.
Among his most important projects is the construction of the "Pyramid" laboratory created for the National Research Council, installed in Nepal in 1991 at an altitude of 5050m.
His professional experiences are innumerable and at different scales. There are projects in the field of architecture, residential buildings, hotels, interior design up to the artistic direction of some furniture sector brands, together with the artistic direction of the their showrooms.
He works with prestigious companies such as: Henge, Giorgetti, Gallotti & radice, Flou, Ceccotti, Exteta and Acerbis.
His collections are characterised by a symposium of exceptional materials, which dialogue with each other in an eternal game of contrasts between light and shadow, soft and hard, smooth and irregular. Their combination is always an exciting sensory adventure.
