Ionna Vautrin

Ionna Vautrin is a French designer known for her ability to blend soft and precise forms in her creations for both public and private spaces. From small to large-scale projects, she designs everyday objects that are simple yet surprising. Her work is characterized by a unique fusion of poetry and industrial design, combining geometric and organic shapes with playful, colorful elements. Vautrin's designs are intuitive, functional, and radiate a warm, familiar presence.

Over the years, she has collaborated with renowned brands such as Foscarini, Moustache, Kvadrat, Sancal, and Lexon, among others. Her breakout success came in 2010 with the Binic lamp for Foscarini, which garnered significant attention. In 2017, she was commissioned by SNCF to design a lamp for France’s high-speed trains, which later became available for the public in partnership with Moustache. Most recently, in June 2023, Vautrin was entrusted with creating the chairs for Notre-Dame de Paris, set to welcome visitors when the cathedral reopens in 2024. Her work continues to captivate with its combination of function, beauty, and innovation.
