Ferruccio Laviani is a well-known designer of our times, born in Cremona in 1940, he is artistic director for several companies. He deals with industrial products, retail installations, graphics and interiors.

He earned a degree in Architecture at the Milan Polytechnics in 1986 and immediately began working for Michele De Lucchi, becoming an associate in his firm.

In 1991 he opened his own firm and began working with Kartell, becoming the artistic director. A position that he will also hold later in other companies like Flos, Foscarini, Moroso. In addition to collaborating with companies of the calibre of Molteni, Misuraemme and De Padova.

His style, his creativity and his vision led him to create extraordinary works that are surely made to be remembered over the years. Two of his lamps designed for Kartell, Bourgie and Take, are part of the permanent collection of the Indianapolis Museum of Art. Other products have been exhibited in museums and exhibitions around the world.
