Gordon Guillaumier
Gordon Guillaumier, a Maltese designer born in 1966, is a renowned figure in industrial and furniture design. After studying in Switzerland, England, and Italy, he earned a diploma from IED Milan and a Master’s from Domus Academy. Early in his career, he worked with Baleri Associati, Rodolfo Dordoni, and Driade, shaping collections like Atlantide and Dhouse.
In 2002, Guillaumier opened his studio in Milan, collaborating with brands such as Minotti, Moroso, Fontana Arte, Desalto, and Roda. His award-winning designs include the Lake table for Desalto and the Orson deckchairs for Roda. As art director for Desalto, he has explored innovative uses of metal in design. His work spans product design and high-end interiors, and he has taught design at leading institutions, including the Milan Polytechnic and Abadir Design Academy.
