Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby

Both graduates from the Royal College of Art in London in architecture, Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby founded their own studio in East London in 1996. Together for more than two decades, they have been pushing the limits of design, art and architecture by challenging and transcending them, earning accolades and appreciation from all over the world. The incredible contemporary appeal they convey in each of their projects is what makes their style and approach to design so easy to recognize.

Their works range from large projects for public and/or private institutions, private galleries or for products from collections for some of the most important brands on the international scene. Flos, B&B Italia, Vitra, Glas Italia and Knoll are just of a few of the well-known companies with which the two designers have collaborated and continue to do so, as well as several limited editions.

The two London designers are often engaged as lecturers in some of the world’s most important universities. Their products belong to the permanent collections of a number of museums including the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Art Institute of Chicago and the London Museum of Design. Presently, Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby are two of the most sought-after designers in the world.
