The Luce Orizzontale S1 by Flos, designed by the renowned Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, is a sophisticated suspended lamp that blends artisanal craftsmanship with advanced lighting technology. This elegant lighting fixture is composed of interconnected cylindrical glass modules, reaching a length of 1.66 meters for the S1 model, making it an exquisite addition to high-end interiors such as modern living rooms, designer kitchens, or contemporary office spaces.
Each glass module is crafted through an artisanal process in which molten glass is poured into a rotating mold, giving every module a unique, exclusive finish. This handmade approach ensures that no two pieces are exactly alike, adding a distinct touch of craftsmanship to this modern lighting solution. The transparent glass is paired with an internal structure made from polished extruded aluminum, housing two linear LED modules that provide both direct and indirect lighting. The LEDs illuminate both downwards and upwards, offering versatile lighting options for any space.
Luce Orizzontale S1 is equipped with a 2.70-meter suspended power cable and features a range of advanced control options. The touch control button, positioned at one end of the lamp, allows for easy adjustments to the light intensity, with dimming capabilities ranging from 10% to 100%. The lamp can be controlled in three different modes: TOUCH for direct control via the button on the lamp, PUSH&TOUCH for remote on/off control and dimming via a push button, and DALI&TOUCH for remote control using the DALI DT6 system, offering maximum flexibility in lighting management.
