Born in Seregno in 1956, he earned a degree in architecture at the Milan Polytechnics in 1985 and, together with Nicoletta Canesi, he founded the Lissoni Associati studio in 1986, a multidisciplinary reality that today can boast offices in Milan and New York.
The studio is a multicultural and multidisciplinary reality that develops architecture projects, product design, graphics and communication both nationally and internationally.
Piero Lissoni is art director for Boffi, De Padova, Living Divani, Lualdi and Porro. But he also boasts numerous collaborations with other wonderful companies in the sector such as Cassina, Poltrona Frau, Knoll, Glas Italia, Flos, Fritz Hansen and Riva 1920 for which he has designed countless signature pieces.
In addition to the field of interior design, his projects include homes and residential complexes, offices, theatres, restaurants and hotels, commercial spaces, installations for exhibits, expos and museums.
There are also numerous professional awards he has received over the course of his career, including the Good Design Award, ADI Compasso d'Oro and others.
